Snow Software enhances EMM offering

Snow Software, the leading developer of Software Asset Management (SAM) solutions, today launched Integrated Container Enterprise (ICE) powered by SyncDog. Recently recognized in Gartner’s EMM magic quadrant, Snow Device Manager is a full Enterprise Mobility Management suite, which now has additional containerization capabilities. Snow Software can now offer SyncDog’s Sentinel SecureTM – now rebranded ICE – alongside Snow Device Manager to provide a cost-effective, secure and flexible data platform for mobile devices.

ICE is a new containerization solution that works within or alongside an EMM platform. This provides IT decision makers with the ability to provide enhanced security options to users that need it, alongside a standard offering for users that have less sensitive requirements. Snow combines mobile SAM capabilities to enable administrators to control app usage meaning users only see the apps that they are eligible to download.

Snow Device Manager delivers a full EMM platform, comprised of device management functionality alongside content management and application management functions. By adding the unique flexible offering of an industry-leading containerized workspace, ICE now matches individual user requirements with flexible technology solutions within one platform. Combined with best-in-class SAM-functionality capable of managing mobile applications and hardware, Snow is addressing mobility issues from a usage, security and compliance point of view.
