Big Cat Gets Closer
BIG CAT GETS CLOSER
Construction of the new Jaguar centre, on Crewe Green roundabout, is absolutely roaring along.
Local family owned business, Swansway Group, only broke ground at the new Jaguar centre at the end of April, but all the steels are now up and the scale and presence of the centre there for everyone to see.
Swansway Group director, David Smyth, explained, “We had a bit of a slow start, for a number of reasons beyond our control, but now it’s quite the opposite with so much progress being made, so quickly, that it’s been quite breath-taking”.
“This centre is in such a visible location, with thousands of drivers seeing the site every day; so, I’m very proud that everyone can see the progress of this latest Swansway centre. Swansway Jaguar Crewe is definitely on course to open in May 2017”, added David.
The Jaguar centre will join Swansway’s three other dealerships in the town; Crewe Audi, Crewe Volkswagen and Crewe SEAT, alongside the company’s head office, accident repair centre and group fleet operation; David added, “This latest addition to the group will bring us to just over 300 staff in Crewe and around 900 across all our sites; as a family business, we’re extremely proud”.
