Wallsend development in demand
A much anticipated housing development in Wallsend has launched following huge interest from buyers.
Persimmon Homes officially opened East Benton Rise in Station Road earlier this month with a selection of two, three, four and five-bedroom homes - plus apartments – available to buy.
With easy access to Newcastle city centre, North Shields and Tynemouth via the A1508 Coast Road the site has been in great demand.
Persimmon Homes will also pump almost £500,000 into the surrounding community with a children’s play area, allotments and road improvements among the list of work to be carried out.
The first phase of homes at East Benton Rise will consist of 225 properties.
Debbie Zaben, sales and marketing director for Persimmon Homes North East, said: “We are delighted to have officially opened East Benton Rise.
“We have received a record number of enquiries for this development online making it one of the most sought-after in the UK.
“There is a wide selection of homes available perfect for first time buyers, growing families, empty nesters and those looking to downsize and we look forward to welcoming them.
“This really will be a fantastic location for people to call home and we anticipate properties will sell fast. I would therefore encourage anyone who is interested to move fast because when they’re gone, they’re gone.”
