Nick Boardman, Artesian Solutions

Customer engagement software firm Artesian Solutions have appointed Nick Boardman as an Onboard Consultant.

Nick brings over 30 years’ experience in banking sector to the role after holding senior positions at Barclays and Bank of Scotland; most recently he was Senior Manager, National Business Development at Lloyds Banking Group.

Founder and Chief Executive Officer at Artesian, Andrew Yates, said: “Successful customer onboarding is of vital importance to our business. It requires a deep understanding of the unique needs of each customer, the challenges they face, and critical success measures, as well as delivering above expectations. As a former customer Nick brings valuable expertise and insight to Artesian.

Adam Russell, LGIM Real Assets

LGIM Real Assets have announced that Adam Russell is to join the property fund managers as their new Residential Transactions Manager.

Joining the London-based firm from private landlord group Fizzy Living, Adam will join LGIM’s growing Build to Rent team to support its expanding UK platform and pipeline of opportunities.

Adam has a wealth of experience in the Build to Rent market, having previously held the position of Head of Acquisitions at Fizzy Living and Associate Director – Funding and Development, Residential Capital Markets at Savills.

Ben Freeman, Shelley Sandzer

In the first of two appointments this month at leisure property firm Shelley Sandzer, Ben Freeman has joined the group’s High Street division where he will advise clients on disposals and acquisitions throughout London.

Ben has over two and a half years’ of agency experience having previously held roles on the retail and leisure team at Richard Susskind & Company and the office property team at Noble Harris.

The second appointment sees Etai Page join Sandzer as a trainee after gaining experience in the property industry in the past year, including a placement at LuchfordAPM’s Luxury Travel and Lifestyle division.

Etai will work alongside Partner Casey Phillips, carrying out acquisitions on behalf of multiple and independent A3 and A4 operators.

Paul Stevens, Business Growth Fund

The Business Growth Fund (BGF) has appointed Paul Stevens to its investment team who joins the investment group from venture capital firm Octopus Ventures.

Based out of their London office, Paul will be charged with identifying investment opportunities in AIM listed companies as part of the BGF Quoted offering, a team led by Gavin Petken and Tom Jenkins.

Paul has spent over 10 years at Octopus Ventures where he was part of the Quoted Smaller Companies Equities team.

Tom Jenkins, Head of BGF Quoted commented: “We are delighted that Paul has joined the BGF Quoted team.

“His experience of working with listed businesses, and his relationships with NOMADS and advisors, will prove invaluable as we continue to increase the number of investments we make in smaller public companies.”

“I’m pleased to be joining the team as BGF continues to scale up its presence and operations among the listed community.”

Mike Wilkinson, Lumeon

Digital health company Lumeon has welcomed Mike Wilkinson into the newly-created role of Vice President of Marketing and Product Management.

Charged with expanding and delivering on Lumeon’s Care Pathway vision, Mike will work underneath the Executive Management Team and will look to expand the firm’s leading position in the Care Pathway Management market.

He brings over 25 years’ marketing experience to the role with global companies including BroadSoft, Alcatel and Newbridge Networks, where he has helped monetise and launch cloud-based offerings across various roles.

Following the appointment, Robbie Hughes, Chief Executive Officer at Lumeon, said: “Mike brings considerable global experience in developing and delivering go-to-market strategies for brand names like Vodafone, BT and BroadSoft.

“His knowledge of the cloud market and scaling businesses will be beneficial as we continue to grow into new markets.”

Mike added: “Lumeon already has a strong reputation and sizeable share of the UK independent healthcare market working with customers like Bupa, Alliance Medical and Nuffield Health, so I’m excited to help them scale the business into new markets.”
