Manchester software developer Human targets £1m turnover following rebrand

Software development company Tariff Street is targeting turnover growth after rebranding and moving to a new office in Manchester city centre.

Now operating as Human, the company is looking to push its turnover past the £1m mark in 2017 from its new 3,500sq ft studio at 56 Princess Street.

The office gives Human enough room to double its team over the next 12 months. The firm has already welcomed five new faces this year, bringing its workforce to 15.

Human is also keen to nurture fresh talent as it expands, which is why one of its 2016 recruits is a University of Manchester student on a sandwich course.

Christopher Charlton, director at Human, said that creating a business in which “people truly are at the heart of everything” is of “paramount importance” to the company.

He commented: “That extends to our team, our clients, their customers, ourselves and our families.

“Human is about creating software that helps to reshape the way we live our lives. Software continues to change the way we do everything – from deciding our future to discussing our lunch.”

Christopher added: “We’re humbled to play our part in shaping that transition for the better.”

News publisher Telegraph Media Group, automaker Jaguar Land Rover, manufacturer Marshalls plc and research consultancy Morris Hargreaves McIntyre are among the brands in Human’s growing client portfolio.
