Specialist packaging provider invests £3.3m into new Leeds head office
Hazel 4D, a specialist in packaging solutions, has moved into a new head office at Mill House in Horsforth, Leeds.
The company’s new premises underwent a £3.3m refurbishment to install state-of-the-art technology, energy efficient air conditioning and disabled access to all floors.
The three storey building can accommodate up to 120 staff and will also provide Hazel 4D with a new innovation centre where clients can view the latest developments in packaging machinery and design.
Situated just next to Horsforth railway station, the site offers efficient transport links, on-site parking and is just a few minutes’ drive from Leeds Bradford airport.
The move comes after Hazel 4D’s former base in Armley was destroyed when a fire in a nearby building spread to its warehouse in 2014.
Since then, the firm has been operating from temporary office premises in Yeadon.
Neil Christie, Hazel 4D’s commercial director, said: “After 2 years of being in a temporary setting it feels like a great relief to finally have our own home again.
“Our facilities are second to none and the offices provide a light, comfortable working environment that will optimise productivity and help us serve our clients better.
“Our investment in this building affirms our commitment to growth over the next few years as we broaden and improve our innovative packaging, machinery and consultation services”.
