Cresta Court Hotel Creates Storm with Sponsorship Deal

The Best Western Cresta Court Hotel, Altrincham and Go Goodwin’s Manchester Storm ice hockey team are delighted to announce that the Hotel has signed up to an exciting new sponsorship deal with the Club for season 16/17, and have become the club’s official hotel partner.

This deal comes in a year of great changes at the south Manchester hotel, as it has just completed the refurbishment of its executive bedrooms, corridors and meeting rooms, and launched its new event space, the Allen Suite, and a brand new contemporary restaurant - Townfields. The improvements are part of a £1.25 million investment at the Hotel in the last two years.

The sponsorship deal also works well for Manchester Storm fans looking for accommodation in the area, as the Hotel is just a short distance from Club’s Altrincham ice rink, and under 10 minutes to both Manchester Airport and the M6/56/60 motorway network.

When visiting the Hotel recently with coach Omar Pacha to conclude the deal, Storm general manager, Neil Russell commented: “We are delighted to welcome the Best Western Cresta Court Hotel on board as a major sponsor of the Club and we look forward to working closely with everybody at the Hotel, not just this upcoming season but for many seasons to come.

“We will be using the Cresta for quite a few of our events this season, first of which was the sold out “Meet The Players Event” on August 30, 2016. Also, many travelling teams will be utilising the Hotel this season, as well as fans of away teams too.”

Paul Hindley from the Best Western Cresta Court said: “It has been an incredible two years at the Hotel as we have undergone a major refurbishment. The icing on the cake, is to now be a sponsor and support Manchester Storm - a team that has also undergone its own great transformation.”

He added: “Manchester Storm are an inspiring part of the north west sports community, and also a hugely important draw for visitors to Altrincham. We are delighted to be able to work alongside them this season and wish them every success in the matches ahead. Go Storm!”
