Toys ‘R’ Us opens new Crystal Peaks store
BRITAIN’S biggest toy retailer is the latest top High Street brand to move into Crystal Peaks.
Toys ‘R’ Us has opened a store in a 12,000 sq ft unit at the award winning Sheffield shopping mall.
“As our busy autumn period approaches, we are delighted that there is so much happening at Crystal Peaks, with Toys ‘R’ Us leading the way,” said Centre Manager Lee Greenwood.
“Toys ‘R’ Us is a an extremely important brand for Crystal Peaks, reflecting our strong position as a family shopping destination.
“And we are extremely pleased that this is the first of several major names who will be coming in to the centre over the coming weeks and as we work towards our busy Christmas period.”
The announcement comes as some of the best known names currently at the shopping centre are also investing in major refurbishment projects.
The East Mall branch of Greggs the Bakers and branches of Vodafone and Specsavers have undergone projects that will enhance their presence in the mall.
And the Drakehouse Mill pub on the Crystal Peaks Retail Park has also had a major refit after becoming part of the Greene King pub retailer and brewing chain Hungry Horse brand.
“We are always extremely pleased when companies invest in their stores in this way as it shows a clear commitment to their future within the centre,” said Lee.
“At a time when the centre has several important new projects in the pipeline, it is very rewarding to see that our existing tenants continue to show this level of support for Crystal Peaks.
“We believe this is why so many people continue to make Crystal Peaks their family shopping destination of choice throughout the year.”
