Perkbox wins Flexible Benefits Provider of the Year
LONDON – 9 September 2016 – Perkbox, UK’s largest and fastest growing benefits provider has scooped the Flexible and Voluntary Benefits Provider of the Year award at the WSB (Workplace Savings and Benefits) Awards 2016 held at Royal Garden Hotel, London, last night.
The brand, which fought off Equiniti, Simplyhealth and YBS Share Place for the coveted award, has become the definitive employee and customer digital engagement platform for businesses of all sizes. Founded in 2015, Perkbox now has over 300,000 members and services some of the world’s biggest brands including Worldpay, BUPA, AXA and British Gas alongside thousands of SMEs.
Its technology has transformed the way employee and customer benefits are managed and redeemed, and has optimised the way in which employers may recognise a job well done.
The WSB Awards recognises both employer and provider excellence, celebrating reward strategies and practice within all types of organisations.
Commenting on the award, Saurav Chopra, CEO and co-founder of Perkbox, said: “We strive to be nothing less than best in class for employee engagement, so we are incredibly proud to have had our efforts over the last 18 months recognised with such a prestigious industry award. We set up this company with a mission to help all businesses prosper in a challenging economic environment by building happier, healthier and thus more productive work places. We’re very much looking forward to continuing our work in helping more organisations across the country become the employer of choice.”
Perkbox addresses the gap in the market for an holistic employee engagement and wellbeing platform that not only offers employees attractive practical and salary-sacrifice benefits, but also integrates a reward & recognition capability with a platform that promotes financial, emotional and physical wellbeing. It has become an indispensable tool for employers, MDs and HR directors.
The brand has since helped businesses gain recognition as pioneers in employee engagement. Snowflake Gelato, a chain of luxury ice cream parlours in London, was recently shortlisted as a finalist for having the Most Effective Benefits Programme in this year’s HR Excellence Awards. Meanwhile, Perkbox helped Next Stage, a social care service for vulnerable people, reduce staff turnover from 58% to 14% in just six months. Such is the success of their employee engagement programme that it is currently a finalist in the Personnel Today Awards 2016 for Best Employee Benefits.
