Revealed: Liverpool’s upcoming New York-inspired bar and restaurant
Leisure operator East Coast Concepts has unveiled concept images of its second New York-inspired Neighbourhood bar and restaurant.
Work on the Liverpool city centre venue is now underway, according to the owner and founder of East Coast Concepts, James Hitchen.
James, whose management team also runs Neighbourhood in the Spinningfields area of Manchester and Hale-based Victors, said: “Now is a very exciting time in our journey.
“Since opening in November 2013 Neighbourhood has been central to the explosion of the restaurant and bar scene in Manchester and we’re excited to be building on this with our Liverpool opening.”
He continued: “We’ve spent a lot of time here, looking at what’s already on offer and finding some gaps in the market.”
The new Liverpool site, located on Castle Street, will serve as a flagship venue for the brand, James explained, adding: “We’ll be doing things here that we don’t in other venues. We have a real focus on live music, and we’re looking to develop fresh talent on both the music side and in the bar and restaurant itself Thursday – Sunday.”
East Coast Concepts plans to expand its Neighbourhood and Victors brands across the North, having secured multi-million pound investment from private equity firm NorthEdge earlier this year.
The company’s strategy has outlined the opening of three additional venues in 2017.
Neighbourhood Liverpool, which will bring East Coast Concepts’ head count to 200, is set to launch on November 7.
