IT recruitment business moves into Leeds’ Central Park

Estio Training, the Halifax-based recruitment firm, has expanded into 5,370 sq ft of office space at the Central Park development in Leeds.

The company has signed a five-year lease at a rent of £12.50 per sq ft at Central Park, which is owned by Aire Commercials Ltd and Kingsbridge Developments (CPL) LLP.

Sam Jamieson of property consultancy Knight Frank in Leeds, who represented the landlords, commented: “Estio Training are opening a new office in Leeds and have made a major commitment to Central Park, which is perfectly located immediately south of Leeds Station and close to the River Aire.

“Central Park also fronts the main approach road into Leeds from the A1, the M1 and the rest of Yorkshire’s superb motorway network. This is an area of Leeds which is becoming increasingly popular, given its location close to the station and its competitive rents,” said Mr Jamieson.

Lee Meadows of Estio Training, which was advised by the Leeds office of real estate advisor Savills, explained that the company had recently acquired Estio Technology Recruitment and was now able to provide an integrated IT offering across the north of England.

Lee said: “With offices in Halifax, Manchester, London and now Leeds, we employ more than 50 staff, with the principal aim of our company being to provide bespoke, tailored IT apprenticeship programmes, alongside more traditional professional recruitment services.

“We are delighted with our new offices in Leeds, which are perfectly located in a high-profile site at the southern gateway to the city centre, close to the station. The offices themselves provide an excellent modern working environment and the rent is reasonable. They will provide a perfect platform for our expansion.
