Northern Tech visits West Coast of USA
Mylo Kaye, CEO of app development and design agency Dreamr is just one of 15 Manchester entrepreneurs swapping the River Irwell for San Francisco Bay in just 3 weeks time.
Co-ordinated by Tech North and the Department of International Trade, their collective mission is to spread the news about the vibrant and thriving tech scene in Manchester and to forge even greater connections with some of the world’s biggest and most prestigious tech brands. A series of meetings with Google, Amazon, Microsoft and Airbnb are already in the diary, with further appointments being arranged on a daily basis.
Delegates will attend the renowned Dreamforce conference, and will meet key influencers from the centre of tech, Silicon Valley.
Kaye commented: “ I feel very privileged and honoured, actually, to be a part of this group of senior Manchester digital entrepreneurs, visiting California to spread the news about what an amazing city and digital hub Manchester is, and exploring what further opportunities there are to build closer business links for us all with the West Coast. We’re all keen to make the most of every meeting whilst we’re there and to do Manchester proud.“
The group leaves on October 1st, returning two weeks later.
