Reality HR Takes Centre Stage

~~Prominent Basingstoke-based HR Consultancy, Reality HR, will be participating in two leading events this autumn, sharing their expertise with the business founders and representatives from two fast-growing sectors keen to ensure they stay ahead of the game, keep on top of changing legislation and bring out the best in their teams in order to grow their businesses.

The mumandworking academy is a new event and now an integral part of the 7th National mumandworking awards which will be hosted by NatWest at Bishopsgate, London on October 11 2016.

With expert speakers on a range of topics including Legals, Vlogging, SEO, Press and PR, Funding for Growth and even a Networking MasterClass, Laura Davis, Managing Director of Reality HR will take to the floor to answer key questions on the issues regarding HR for growing businesses. Delegates will include a wealth of mumpreneurs and parent-preneurs – founders of businesses ‘going places’ – and therefore keen to seek expert advice and support regarding the HR challenges around future or ongoing expansion and how to get it right.

Then on 25 November, Reality HR will be taking centre stage at the inaugural National Children’s Activities Conference, hosted once again by NatWest.

In a UK first, the Children’s Activities Association was set up to give parents a bench mark to help them make informed choices around clubs and classes for their children. By establishing and improving consistent standards and through a thorough accreditation process, parents can now get the reassurance they need on important issues like insurance, training, H&S and police checks. The National Children’s Activities Conference is the first national gathering for this growing sector and a very exciting event, jam-packed with a full programme of highly relevant content from experts and influencers.

Reality HR will turn their attentions to the specific HR challenges facing franchisors and franchisees at this event, as well as offering the general HR information and advice no business should miss.

The organisers commented: “Even start-ups should have their eye on the ball regarding HR if they want their business to grow and without expert advice, the HR mine field can be a very challenging place. Business owners and managers want to recruit the best, manage their teams in the most effective way and be kept fully aware of their responsibilities to their staff. We are, therefore, delighted to be welcoming Reality HR to these events and we know delegates will benefit enormously from their expert advice”.

Reality HR offers a huge range of services including recruitment support and interviewing, HR strategy and succession planning, managing performance and employee engagement, so something for everyone – at whatever stage of their business. At both events they will also be hosting a unique ‘HR Openhouse’ for delegates to enjoy one-2-one advice and support.

Laura Davis commented: “I am delighted to be speaking at both of these events as they are a great opportunity to meet business people face-to face and help them with a whole range of HR issues. We have only recently joined the CAA as a Fellowship Member and I believe they perform an invaluable role in the children’s activities sector. Hopefully, we can help their members address any HR issues that they may have overlooked and which are stifling their business growth.”
