Head of Businesscomparison.com, Philip Brennan comments:

“We are particularly proud to be named as B2B E-Commerce website of the year as our business to business model is at the heart of what we do. We launched Businessnesscomparison.com just over a year and a half ago as an online comparison tool for business owners to find the best deals on products and services that are essential to their daily running and success. Since then our user base has grown to more than 30,000 businesses a month.

“It’s a fantastic boost to be recognised in our own region. The team have worked incredibly hard at creating the best service for our customers. Everything is created in-house and we are proud to be from Chester. We see the city as an up and coming tech hub with some great creative and technology businesses in the area. Chester is also a strong finance centre with MBNA, Virgin Money, MoneySuperMarket and Lloyds all based in the city. Our ambition is to touch 50 per cent of UK small businesses in the first three years and this award is a wonderful addition to our growth story.”

Businesscomparison.com has also been shortlisted in the category of Business Start-up at the Cheshire Business Awards which will be announced at a ceremony on Friday, October 7 at Chester Cathedral.
