New Birchwood Park home for £195m-turnover firm FOSS
Analytical instruments firm FOSS is establishing a new base in Warrington.
The £195m-turnover company will move into 2,774 sq ft of space at Chadwick House, an office block at Birchwood Park.
Relocating from nearby Birchwood Boulevard, FOSS said it made the move to take advantage of the property’s on-site amenities and provide staff with a quality working environment.
Chadwick House is located within reach of The Centre – Birchwood Park’s business and leisure destination offering restaurant, fitness and meeting facilities.
David Jones, FOSS’ financial controller and company secretary, said: “Our business had outgrown its previous office space, so it was important for us to find somewhere with the capacity to support our expansion as a business.
“We also wanted to maximise the benefits available to our employees and offer them more than just an office space.”
He continued: “We’re extremely pleased to have secured a suitable office space within such a community-led business park, with the added bonus of excellent transport links.
“Travelling to and from work with as little disruption as possible is something we wanted to be able to offer our staff.”
Birchwood Park’s commercial director, Martin O’Rourke, commented: “It is encouraging to hear that this played such a key part in Foss’ decision to relocate to Chadwick House.
“Our recent investment in road improvements will also ensure that FOSS is well connected to its national and international operations. We look forward to welcoming the FOSS team to our thriving community.”
Birchwood Park is managed by real estate firm PATRIZIA UK.
