York Business Week – Inspire. Grow. Celebrate
November promises to be an exciting month for the present and future York Business Community. Local businesses and higher education partners throughout the city are joining together to host York Business Week from 14-18 November 2016. The week promises to offer local businesses, entrepreneurs and students a range of informative, valuable and thought provoking events and networking to enhance the business opportunities available within the city.
York Business Week is now in its 7th Year. It is a collaboration of minds and ideas from professionals within the York Business Community including: Owen Turner (United by Design), Anne Taylor (See Green), Claire Newhouse (Higher York), Charles Storr (Make it York), Emma Smailes (The Federation of Small Businesses) and Jo Pickering (York Professionals).
York Business Week and its calendar of events are suitable for both employees, employers, business start-ups and students alike, who love to learn and meet people. This year promises to be better than ever with the support of Make it York, who are organizing a relaunched Venturefest.
Some key highlights of the week include:
- A Supernetworking event on Monday 14 November at the Novotel.
- Venturefest on Wednesday 16 November at York Racecourse.
- The York Press Business Awards on Thursday 17 November at York Racecourse.
