Manchester recruitment firm opens new London base in Moorgate

Finlay James Associates, the global IT and digital recruitment company, has opened a new office in Central London.

The Manchester-headquartered firm has set up base at WeWork Moorgate in Central London, with the new office adding to its sites in Didsbury, Birmingham and St Albans to provide the recruiters with a foothold in the London market.

Heading up the new office will be Nick Guy who was recently promoted to Director of Business Development having been at the firm for the last three years.

Ahead of the new office opening, he said: “I’m really looking forward to the new challenge. It’s another exciting chance for FJ to continue growing!”

Founded in 2003, Finlay James sources staff for IT, digital and sales positions for clients worldwide, and has grown to encompass a headcount of 44 staff with plans to increase staff numbers to 70 by October next year thanks to sustained growth at the firm.

John Gaughan, Chief Executive Officer at Finlay James said that the new London office would allow the recruitment firm to work more closely with its clients and understand their needs better.

He said: “Moorgate is the first new office Finlay James has opened since 2010 when we opened our Birmingham office and we feel that having a presence in the Capital will provide us with the opportunity to understand more about our clients’ needs and will be truly business-changing.”
