Iconic Putney pub the Star & Garter available to lease
A well-known Putney pub that provides yearly views of the Oxford and Cambridge University boat race has come to market.
Leisure property firm Fleurets are marketing the Star & Garter venue which sits on the banks of the River Thames in south west London, a venue which has a history dating back to the 1800s.
The property includes an 80-cover bar and restaurant area, along with a separate bar area featuring an additional 40 covers and what the agent describes as an ‘impressive’ Victorian ballroom.
The four-storey premises on Lower Richmond Road also houses 13 bedrooms for staff and a manager’s flat.
