Crossbow’s £1.5m Sheffield student accommodation scheme fully let

hlw Keeble Hawson has acted for Crossbow Developments on a new Sheffield project which forms part of Kelham Island’s regeneration.

Located on Henry Street, the £1.4m scheme called Bento features eight five-bedroom hi-tech houses, with gardens and roof terraces for student accommodation.

After acquiring the land for the 13,500 sq ft new build, hlw Keeble Hawson’s property team managed all sale processes. Commercial property solicitor, Clare Darwood, granting eight long leases of 300 years for each property in time for students to move in at the start of the new academic year.

As well as Bento, Crossbow Developments has commissioned hlw Keeble Hawson for a raft of other schemes. The firm acted on two earlier Kelham Island student accommodation projects along with another Henry Street development of 47 eco-friendly, state of the art, cabin-style units and 18 individual plots at Dunfields.
