First Ark headline sponsor at Northern Enterprise 2016

First Ark Group, a unique social impact business, has been announced as headline sponsor for Northern Enterprise 2016, the inaugural one-day conference, exhibition and awards that aims to steer the Government’s devolution agenda through the social sector.

Happening at Manchester’s Victoria Warehouse on October 13, Northern Enterprise 2016 is the brainchild of Liverpool company, Social Enterprise Network, and is bringing businesses together from across the north of England to map out the role that social value can have in shaping the changing face of the Northern Powerhouse.

The term social value relates to The Public Services (Social Value) Act 2012, whereby public organisations are required to factor how the social, economic and environmental issues of a local area are considered during procurement.
