Spin Print shortlisted for top industry award

A Yorkshire-based print firm and its founder have been shortlisted for two prestigious national awards thanks to contributions to the UK print industry.

Print provider, Spin Print has been shortlisted for Best Trade Manufacturer and its founder Dan Brook has been shortlisted for Individual Personality of the Year in the IPIA Gala Awards 2016.

The award ceremony celebrates the vital contribution made by the companies and individuals that make up the Independent Print Industries Association (IPIA).

Spin Print, founded in 2005, uses the latest print technologies to manufacture a range of print products for some of the UK’s biggest retailers. Recently, the firm worked closely with Barnsley Football Club to produce innovative printed wallpaper to celebrate the club’s victory at Wembley.

The shortlisting comes after a period of growth and investment for the firm. Spin Print recently upgraded its digital capacity with the addition of an iGen4 digital press and an Afga large format press, taking investment this year up to £400,000.

Spin Print director, Dan Brook said: “I am very proud to be shortlisted for this award and I am honoured to be recognised among some of the most respected businesses in the industry.

“The shortlisting is a testament to all our hard work and investments in the past year.”

The award ceremony will take place on October 12th at Birmingham Airport’s Holiday Inn.
