Personal Group appoints George Farrow client management lead

Personal Group, a leading employee services and benefits provider, has appointed former Reward Gateway Chief Operating Officer, George Farrow to lead the client management teams and promote the uptake of Hapi, Personal Group’s versatile benefits platform, among new and existing clients.

With a strong background in strategic growth and product development, Farrow moved into the benefits market following 30 years in banking, initially with NatWest working in corporate finance and then with Lloyds TSB, where he was responsible for establishing the bank’s employee benefits product for customers - bringme.

Farrow oversaw the development of bringme and its eventual sale to Asperity (now Reward Gateway) in 2007, which subsequently lead to his move to Reward Gateway as Client Services Director in 2009.

His appointment to the Personal Group management team follows the launch and continued growth of Personal Group’s Hapi app, which launched earlier this year. Farrow will ensure clients are making the most of Personal Group’s tailored technology to support internal employee benefits programmes and develop bespoke services that ensure staff are happier and more productive.

Mark Scanlon, CEO of Personal Group commented: “As we continue to develop our product portfolio and services to suit the needs of digital-first employees, securing a Development Director with George’s level of experience is key to driving our growth. George’s skillset and knowledge of product development and client growth, both within the benefits market and beyond, are invaluable assets which we are pleased to welcome on board.”

George Farrow, Account Development Director at Personal Group added: “I was really impressed by the story of Personal Group and how it has developed itself within the employee benefits space over the past few years. The launch of Hapi is set to put their offering far ahead of anything else in the market and the chance to work with the incredible team to develop this further and take it to market was the ideal next step for me.”

Farrow was also a Judge on The British Diversity Awards for 10 years and has long been actively involved in supporting equality in the workplace.
