Knight Frank wins major Yorkshire property award

The Yorkshire office of global property consultancy Knight Frank was named the Office Agency Team of the Year at this year’s Yorkshire Property Industry Awards.

The awards, held at the Royal Armouries Museum, New Dock Hall, Leeds, were attended by 600 of the region’s top professionals.

Ian Leech of Yorkshire Business Insider praised all of the winners and shortlisted companies. “Having chaired the judging session I know that some of the categories were very close to call and I think that goes to show the quality we have here in the Yorkshire property sector,” he said.

The judges commented: “For its spread throughout the region, Knight Frank was deemed to be the best performing office agency in Yorkshire.”

The Office Agency Team of the Year award was sponsored by Ben Johnson Interiors.

Knight Frank was also short-listed in the Industrial Agency category of the awards.

Eamon Fox, partner in charge of office agency at Knight Frank in Leeds, commented: “We were delighted to win this prestigious award, and be short-listed in another category, especially as the awards were voted for by an expert committee of property professionals. It has been a challenging year for the property industry in Yorkshire, with the uncertainty caused by Brexit, but we have managed to put together some important deals in a difficult market.”
