Leeds-based Progeny launches new investment management firm

Progeny, the Leeds-based multi-service professional platform, has announced the launch of a new discretionary investment management firm.

Progeny Asset Management has been launched by directors Ian Hooper, Michelle Parkin and Jon Moody, and investment managers Craig Melling and David Battersby.

The new investment management firm offers a tailored investment solution, working with clients to navigate the financial markets by growing and preserving future wealth.

The team is completed by investment manager’s assistant Rachel Blythe.

Neil Moles, managing director of Progeny, commented: “Progeny Asset Management’s launch is a crucial milestone for Progeny.

“Their experience and expertise will benefit our wealth management service offerings to our client base.

“Progeny was born out of an ambition to create the first multi-service professional platform designed to match client goals with those of the professionals advising them. This is a step in the right direction for boosting the Group’s profile of working with high-net-worth families.”

Ian Hooper, director of Progeny Asset Management, added: “We are delighted to be part of The Progeny Group.

“Working out of the head office in Leeds our experienced team of investment managers will help to complement and strengthen the Group’s position in the market.”

With the head office located in Progeny House, Leeds and offices in the heart of Central London, Progeny is an integrated platform and extensive network of wealth planners, private client and corporate solicitors, to meet the needs of individuals, families and businesses.
