New staff join MGN Events as expansion continues
MGN Events based just outside London in Egham, Surrey has taken on a new event coordinator and another apprentice as it continues with its growth and expansion after moving to new premises earlier this year.
New team member Hettie Thomas has been brought on board as an event coordinator joining from cancer charity, Teens Unite Fighting Cancer. She has been joined by new apprentice Bradley Sewell. Previous apprentice Josh Nash has now taken on a full time permanent role as production coordinator with MGN Events.
Hettie Thomas said:
“I am delighted to be joining MGN Events at such an exciting time of growth for the company. I was thrown in at the deep end during my first few weeks as I was involved in an away day for one of our clients, Trainline for 450 people as well helping out at a twenty year anniversary party for Sunbury based Kingston Technology for 150 people. It really has been a baptism of fire!”
Mike Walker, Managing Director of MGN Events said:
“This last year has seen a significant investment in property and staff as we prepare ourselves for a busy 2017. As a business, we continue to push forward and have increased our turnover and gross profit for the fifth successive year. Our focus is on event management, production and high end private parties and we also continue to ensure that we give young people opportunities to break into the industry as we take on our third apprentice in as many years. The future looks bright right now as we look forward to another year of growth.”
