Foundation Appoints John Marshall as Chair of Trustees
Newcastle United Foundation is delighted to announce the appointment of John Marshall, the recently retired Vice Chairman of Bond Dickinson LLP, as Chair of the Trustee Board.
John has been a Trustee of the Foundation since 2011 and has been an integral part of the growth and development of the charity during the last five years.
As a respected member of the business community John also sits on the Regional Council in the North East for the North East Chamber of Commerce, and has played an active role with the CBI and as a Board Member of NewcastleGateshead Initiative. John also chairs the Regional Development Committee of the Prince’s Trust and is a member of the International Advisory Board for Newcastle University Business School.
Kate Bradley, Head of Newcastle United Foundation, said: “We are delighted that John has agreed to become the Chair of Trustees.
“His time with the Foundation so far has had an important impact on our development and growth. The support and guidance John has given has been invaluable and we know this is the right appointment to help us deliver our ambitious plans for the future.”

“The Foundation has huge ambition to increase the impact it has on the lives of local people. Is a force for good in the region and has some very exciting plans for the future.”
