Yorkshire adventure company expands with opening of Cumbria site
Live For Today, the Yorkshire-based outdoor activities company, has expanded its services to open a new site in Cumbria’s Lake District.
The outdoor adventure company has launched its third site in Kendal, after experiencing an increase in business growth from its first two bases in Leeds and Harrogate. Live For Today forecasts growth of £500k as this year finishes.
Based at the Castle Green Hotel, Kendal, Live For Today welcomed Tim Farron MP to take up archery at an official opening ceremony held on Friday 7th October at special Cumbria Business to Business Exhibition and Networking Event.
As well as archery, the new Kendal site’s facilities also include a ropes course, climbing wall and rifle shooting.
The business has grown from offering private adventure days and stag and hen parties, to increasing corporate groups for team building days.
At the Castle Green, Live For Today offers High and Low Ropes, 30ft climbing wall with Zip Wire, Air Rifle Shooting, Archery, Bushcraft Skills, Orienteering and a mixture of team tasks.
These activities are catered towards a full day team build, or as an addition to a meeting or event being staged at the Castle Green, which is adjacent to the course.
Marc Wise, founder and managing director of Live For Today, said: “We are delighted to have officially launched our new site at The Castle Green Hotel, Kendal.
“With two locations in Yorkshire already, the third base allows us to extend our presence to the great outdoors of the Lake District.”
Established in 2011 by Marc Wise and Dan Miller, the adventure company has experienced a consistent year-on-year growth.
