Tool hire company A-Plant to establish Trafford Park warehouse
Ashtead Plant Hire Limited (A-Plant) is establishing a presence at Trafford Park after snapping up a distribution unit on the development.
The plant, tool and equipment hire services firm will move into the 11,560 sq ft Unit B at Alpha Three, located on Fourth Avenue.
Commercial property firm Bruton Knowles acquired the single-storey warehouse for A-Plant, which forms part of FTSE 100-listed equipment rental company Ashtead Group plc.
Chris Renshaw, from Bruton Knowles’ office in Manchester, said: “As well as being ideally located for the M60 and M602, Trafford Park provides a range of modern and secondhand units ideally situated for Ashtead to serve their client base locally and regionally.
“We have recently acquired premises for a number of clients across the North West and we are pleased to continue our association with Ashtead.”
Property consultants WHR acted on behalf of the site’s landlord during the transaction.
Located three miles from central Manchester, Trafford Park spans 1,200 acres and is one of the largest industrial estates in Europe.
