Bradford businessmen launch crowdfunding campaign for horror film venture
Two company directors from Bradford have called on the help of the Yorkshire business community to fund their passion for filmmaking and scriptwriting.
Paul Renhard and Dave Gilbank, founders of marketing content firm Tadah Media, have launched a crowdfunding campaign for a full length version of their award-winning Polterheist short movie.
With an aim of raising £70k are already in discussions with several major regional and national investors to get the project off the ground.
Dave commented: “We’re seeing a lot of interest from businesses across the region in getting behind a venture that will brilliantly showcase Yorkshire and its acting talent.
“Polterheist, a 20 minute film set in Bradford about ‘guns, ghosts and gangsters’, has already picked up awards in 12 countries across six continents.
“We now want to expand the premise into a full length version and have a range of attractive packages for any would be backers.”
