EDMI Europe set for Gosforth Business Park move
EDMI Europe Limited has announced it will relocate from its base at Regent Centre, Gosforth, to Gosforth Business Park next month.
The company, which designs and manufactures smart meters for the global utilities industry, is moving to house its growing Newcastle team as part of an expansion strategy
Securing a ten year lease from Union Properties, the business will move into Northumbria House, a two-storey detached building comprising of 10,068 sq ft of office space.
The business park is located around four miles north of Newcastle upon Tyne city centre, with current occupiers including BT, Parkdean Holidays and Home Housing.
Alan Masterman, General Manager, EDMI Europe, said: “We are delighted to announce our Head Office move to Gosforth Business Park, and are looking forward to being based in such a modern working environment.
“Commercial self-contained office space like this is very hard to come by in Newcastle, and we assessed the market extensively before deciding on Northumbria House.”
Raj Sehgal, Director at Union Properties, said: “We are delighted we have the let Northumbria House quickly following a full refurbishment, with assistance from BNP Paribas Real Estate. EDMI is a fast-growing organisation and pleased that its next phase of expansion will be at Gosforth Business Park.”
