Accreditation confirms Keighley manufacturer’s commitment to quality
2016 has already been an incredibly successful year for Advanced Couplings, an engineering company which specialises in stainless steel, clamp type, tube connections and is based in the West Yorkshire town of Keighley. Advanced Couplings achieved a new ISO 9001:2015 (Quality Management Systems) quality accreditation and the company has also made a significant investment in a state-of-the-art Coordinate Measurement Machine and ISO 14001:2015 (Environmental Management Systems).
Not only is Advanced Couplings’ ISO 9001 quality accreditation great news for the company, it also further confirms the high quality of their products, providing further reassurance for their customers. “ISO 9001 allows assured quality control which means that our customers can have 100% confidence in our manufacturing processes and our products. Here at Advanced Couplings we’re incredibly proud of the high standard of our products and whilst ISO 9001 puts a further stamp of quality on our components, it also enables full traceability which means that we’re able to offer an even higher standard of service to our customers,” explained Jamie Kendrick, Advanced Couplings’ Quality Assurance Manager.
It’s been a busy couple of months for the team at Advanced Couplings and they’re absolutely delighted with their brand new Coordinate Measurement Machine (CMM). Designed to ensure the accuracy of the design of Advanced Couplings’ components, the CMM will check the tolerance of the measurements of each finished component is correct. “We invest a great deal of time and energy into the development and improvement of our products and the CMM is part of our overall strategy to ensure outstanding quality throughout our product range. In addition, the CMM helps us to guarantee virtually 100% compatibility between Advanced Couplings’ components and the systems which they are used in,” added Jamie Kendrick.
