‘Christmastime is here again’ at Blakes Restaurant
Blakes Restaurant is getting into the spirit with its Festive Lunch & Dinner.
The popular Beatles inspired venue, nestled within the award-winning Hard Days Night Hotel, has devised a menu with traditional Christmas dining in mind.
Available between November 21 and December 24, the two and three course variations combine a series of family favourites infused with contemporary flavours, to provide ‘a refreshing taste of yuletide nostalgia’.
General Manager of Hard Days Night Hotel Mike Dewey said: “Whether guests be dining with family, friends or work colleagues, our Festive Lunch & Dinner makes for the perfect celebration during the exciting run up to Christmas.
“The classic winter warmers are the perfect accompaniment for those wanting to sit back and relax after a busy day of Christmas shopping, and also make for a great party starter amongst larger group bookings.“
To begin their festive feast, guests can choose from a range of starters such as Chicken Liver Parfait with Crispbreads; Salt and Pepper Pork with Sweet Chilli Sauce and Goats’ Cheese and Ruby Beetroot Salad. Mains include Traditional Roast Turkey with Pigs in Blankets, Fondant Potato, Cranberry and Sage Stuffing and Seasonal Veg; Pan Fried Salmon marinated in Chilli, Garlic, Lime and Honey served on a Bed of Noodles and Mushroom Wellington served with Roasted Garlic Potato.
Tempting desserts include the all-time festive favourite Christmas pudding with brandy sauce alongside Chocolate and Clementine Cake with Scented Orange Cream; Winter Berry Pavlova and a Cheese Board served with Local Cheeses.
Mike added: “In what felt like a blink of an eye, another year has quickly passed by and the holiday season is once again upon us. In addition to our ever popular Festive Lunch & Dinner, we have got a whole host of festivities lined up such as our exclusive Christmas Day lunch and party night packages.
“Whether guests choose to dine, drink or stay here with us throughout Christmastime, we hope to make their experience as memorable and magical as can be.“
Festive Lunch & Dinner is priced at £26.95pp for two courses and £29.95pp for three courses.
