Branding on a Bootstring budget!

Yorkshire design and brand agency, The Engine Room are preparing to launch Bootstring, a new initiative offering early start or pre start companies an opportunity to compete to access up to £30,000 worth of services provided by the award-winning agency’s accomplished team. The Engine Room’s team includes designers, strategic thinkers, photographers, web developers and copywriters who would help with the branding and marketing of the winning business.

The Bootstring initiative will see start up businesses who wouldn’t usually have the funds to work with large businesses competing against one another to gain access to renowned professional branding and design. In return for this assistance, instead of an upfront fee, The Engine Room ask for a minor equity investment in the start-up businesses. The agency will deliver up to £30,000 of strategic brand insight and brand development work, which can be vital for a business as it is just beginning to grow. The Engine Room, based in Huddersfield, specifically want to make the initiative available to local Yorkshire start ups.

The established agency will be looking for businesses that stand out from others through innovative and new ideas. They will also be judging candidates on the feasibility and longevity of their business plan. If chosen, the agency will work with the start-up business to create a brand that will firmly position them in their market, making sure they differentiate from their competitors. This unique and exciting opportunity will create a brand that would usually only be accessible by a more established firm.

Managing Director, Lesley Gulliver commented, “We developed the Bootstring scheme for young businesses who we believe have the potential to flourish through our support. We love the passion and energy new business owners possess and our team love getting involved with inventive brand concepts.”

If you have a great idea or an early start company that would benefit from the Bootstring initiative, visit www.bootstring.co.uk to start your application form today.
