Peter Commins, Northern Director of leading property group, Kier, said: “Liverpool Business Showcase Session covered Liverpool’s focus on innovation and its next-generation manufacturing capability through developments like Sensor City, and its place as a global city of culture with world-leading assets like LIPA and its new performing arts development.

“As a contractor behind both these key schemes, which showcase Liverpool’s growth and expertise across sectors, Kier is playing a major role in the ongoing development of the city and we were proud to be partnering with both Liverpool and Manchester and to be part of the MIPIMUK delegation.

Sean Keyes, director at engineering consultancy Sutcliffe, said: “The collaborative ethos that underpins the Liverpool and Manchester delegation is fantastic and it’s great to see the private and public sector working so closely together. It’s this sort of open collaboration which delivers the best impact in the long run and that’s an area where the North West public and private sector really excels. We’ve heard some great insights into the potential development pipeline planned for Liverpool and we’re delighted to have supported the delegation and raised the profile of our business on a regional and national level.”
