Influential launches partnership with The Brain Charity

Communications agency Influential will be supporting national neurological charity, The Brain Charity, as its Charity of the Year for 2016 and 2017.

The agency will support the Liverpool-based charity, which offers practical help, emotional care and social activities to people with neurological conditions, with its marketing activity over the next 12 months.

The charity is the only national organisation in the UK which offers support across the spectrum of neurological conditions such as attention deficit disorder, dementia and strokes, rather than just focusing on one condition.

As part of the year-long campaign, Influential will support the charity by raising brand awareness amongst the general public and local businesses and promoting additional revenue streams including its onsite café.

Influential previously assisted with the charity’s rebrand from Neurosupport in 2015, creating the new brand identity including the name change and new logo.

Nanette Mellor, chief executive officer at The Brain Charity, said: “We are honoured to be Influential’s charity of the year. The agency’s skills and expertise will be invaluable as we look to grow and expand over the next 12 months.

“Any support we receive makes a significant difference to what we can achieve. It goes a long way to helping some of the most vulnerable people in the country and bringing them into a community that will help them with day-to-day life.”

Karen Swan, marketing and insights director at Influential, added: “We are delighted to be supporting this brilliant charity that has a life-changing impact on people suffering with neurological conditions right across the country.

“Having worked closely with Nanette and her team over many years, I know that the work they do is fundamental to hundreds of children and adults living with neurological conditions. The team at Influential has hit the ground running and is already working with the team and we’re delighted to be officially partnering with this amazing organisation.”
