Teesside engineering firm to fulfil multi-million pound Middle Eastern export deal
Teesside-based Pipeline Precision Engineering is fulfilling a multi-million pound export deal to the Middle East, after gaining backing from NatWest.
Located on Wandhills Avenue in the Skelton Industrial Estate, the firm provides the oil and gas sector with engineering design, manufacture and construction solutions in mechanical, pipe work, structural, and precision engineering disciplines.
Fulfilling a $2.2m export order for delivery of bespoke units, the business was helped by a six-figure supporting sum from NatWest.
Emma Fraser, Project Manager at Pipeline Precision Engineering, said: “We are in the process of fulfilling the export order which supports our long-term growth aspirations.
“As a business we have enjoyed a steady period of growth despite a challenging operations climate. Having a bank like NatWest that can provide tailored funding to support the demands of our business is vital to our success.”
The deal was supported by International Trade Director Kevin Tokell and Senior Relationship Manager Gary Richardson. Paul Wright also advised on the deal on behalf of UKEF.
Kevin said: “It’s an exciting time for Pipeline Precision Engineering as the firm embarks on this new contract which will support its business growth plans.
“The business has developed a strong reputation for its products and services on offer, and we wish Pipeline Precision Engineering every success for the future.”
Gary added: “The management team at Pipeline Precision Engineering have a clear business strategy for the firm and this export contract delivers on this. We were delighted to support Pipeline Precision Engineering on this project.”
