The Omyx Club - Exclusive New Lifestyle Club

New in London this Autumn is The Omyx Club; the lifestyle club for discerning gay men, which will be centred around exciting, regular events in the capital whilst providing a platform for like-minded gay males to socialise, date, network and travel.

Offering something different from the current gay scene in London, The Omyx Club operates online through a dedicated website, with a mobile app planned for later in the year.

The Omyx Club was founded by young entrepreneur Edward Johnson, in order to address the growing feeling amongst his friends and colleagues that many websites and apps aimed at gay men fail to acknowledge and address the social, cultural and romantic aspects of life.

Edward Johnson comments: “The Omyx Club is a sophisticated, members club for professional, retired, single or coupled gay males who want to network, socialise and enjoy what London has to offer with likeminded individuals. The market research I conducted whilst constructing The Omyx Club further reinforced this view – highlighting that the gay scene was “unappealing“ to most.

We see London as the perfect place to launch The Omyx Club, with such a vast range of prestigious venues and scope for events, but ultimately the vision is for The Omyx Club is to expand into other regions of the UK and internationally“.

The Omyx Club will host a series of events in London, which will include monthly “Members’ Drinks” at Beaufort House, Kings Road, which will be free to attend for all members, as well as several other events such as: retail evenings (with special members’ discounts TBC), private dining, theatre, opera and a wealth of exclusive arts, cultural events at venues including the Groucho Club and the London Palladium.

The new website provides access to the events schedule, including a socialising and networking function, the option to search for likeminded singletons with a view to organising dates and getaways, as well as travel and business sections for exclusive access to holidays and career opportunities. The dating function in The Omyx Club is blended into the social and lifestyle elements of the club, and provides a more sophisticated approach to gay dating.
