Allay supports wildlife charity
Northumberland Wildlife Trust has received a surprise donation of £1,570 from Allay Claims Ltd.
Allay Claims Ltd is a team of finance professionals which guides and assists consumers through the process of claiming refunds for mis-sold PPI policies and, to date has helped thousands of clients to win back considerable amounts of money.
Each month, the Newcastle based company donates £10 on behalf of every member of staff (currently standing at 157) to a charity selected by its employee of the month.
The most recent Employee of the Month, Sales Advisor Callum Wood from Dipton County, Durham, chose the Trust as he grew up around animals and said: “I feel animals deserve care and attention and a safe environment in which to live, especially in the wild. Humans do so much damage to their habitats that I’d like to give a little something back.”
This is great news for the wildlife charity as it has recently been working to safeguard the declining habitats of hedgehogs in the region, which, even just 10 years ago, was a common sight in gardens.
