Cowgill Holloway announce merger with Warings

Leading North West Chartered Accountants and Business Advisors, Cowgill Holloway LLP has announced a merger with Bolton-based, Warings Business Advisers LLP, to further increase its offering to the region’s businesses.

The merger, which completed on Friday 21 October, will create a combined group with 15 partners. The deal sees Warings’ Senior Partner, Patrick Lydon and Tax Partner, Helen Chambers appointed Partners of Cowgill Holloway, with Ray Darby and Nicola Roby becoming Directors of CHW Small Business Accounting, a soon–to-be-launched specialised small business centre, based at Warings’ offices in Bedford House on Chorley New Road.

CHW Small Business Accounting will see Warings’ team and Cowgill Holloway’s small business team combine to provide accounting solutions to small businesses around the region, providing bookkeeping, accounting, management information and payroll services, allowing business owners to focus on running their business, rather than spending time managing the financial books and records. The business will be based from Warings’ existing office at Bedford House, Chorley New Road.

The merger increases the Cowgill Holloway Group to 150 staff across five offices, providing a full service offering to businesses small and large alike.
