New £1m Chatham trampoline park opens this month

A new £1m trampoline park is getting ready to open later this month at Chatham Maritime.

The first floor 18,500 sq ft arena is part of Flip Out which is the biggest trampoline operator in Europe and also features an outside terrace overlooking the marina.

The attraction will open on 26th November and features a 7m tumble track, free running area, 70 interconnected trampolines with a separate area for the under-5s to bounce in, plus wall runners and foam pits.

More than 40 jobs have been created at the new arena at The Quays, 18 of which are full time positions. The team is led by general manager Lydon Smith, an experienced leisure industry professional.

Mr Mark McGill, director, Flip Out Chatham, said:

“We’re really excited about bringing such a unique trampolining experience to Dockside which already attracts more than 2.2 million people every year.

“Skilled court monitors will be on hand to ensure a safe and fun environment for both experienced trampolinists and absolute beginners.

“Flip Out will open longer than other similar attractions in the area, making it more accessible for early morning sessions, corporate away days and exclusive party nights.

“We’ll also be working closely with local schools and other community organisations to give them the opportunity to use Flip Out as a place to exercise, socialise and have fun.”

Flip Out Chatham will also include a café, free wifi and two party rooms which can also be used for corporate events.

You can now book your session to bounce online through Flip Out Chatham’s website. Further details can be found on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.
