Award winning Businesscomparison.com to support local firms
Multi award winning Chester based FinTech company Businesscomparison.com will be supporting local businesses by giving advice at a workshop in the city. The company, that recently won Start-up of the Year at the Cheshire Business Awards, will be hosting the talk in partnership with Small Business Saturday at their event outside Chester Town Hall on Friday 11th November.
Head of the business Philip Brennan will be joined by Businesscomparison.com’s marketing experts Adair Cameron and Chris Sumner to lead the workshop ‘Online Marketing for your Small Business’. With a combined experience of 30 years working in digital marketing for the likes of GoCompare, MoneySupermarket.com and now Businesscomparison.com, they will be helping local business owners with their queries about online marketing be it site design, paid search, display, SEO or sales attribution.
The event is part of the national Small Business Saturday campaign bus tour and inspire series of free talks and workshops for start-ups and existing small businesses. The workshop is free to attend and will be live streamed on Periscope with real time Twitter Q&A.
Head of Businesscomparison.com Philip Brennan says it’s a pleasure to be able to share expertise with other small business owners:
“As both a start-up company and a small enterprise we know how difficult it is to make a success of your business. This year we’ve been fortunate enough to win a number of awards including being named as Cheshire’s start-up of the year. Supporting small businesses is what we do best and we have built our company on the basis of helping SMEs save money and compare deals on all that is essential to them including business bank accounts, loans, insurance, commercial mortgages and business energy. Small Business Saturday is a fantastic campaign that recognises and supports independent enterprises up and down the country. We’re very much looking forward to getting involved and meeting other members of the local business community.”
The team will be outside Chester Town Hall on the 11th November with the Businesscomparison.com workshop starting with a networking session at 10.30am. To register for a place on the workshop visit www.smallbusinesssaturdayuk.com/inspire.
