Venturefest Delegates Look To The Cloud For Transformation
AN IT expert will explain today how new cloud-based technologies are re-shaping the way people do business, opening up new opportunities and delivering efficiencies.
Justin Short, a director at leading North East technology company Synergi IT, is speaking at Venturefest North East, about how the new technologies are ‘real game changers’.
Delegates at Venturefest, which aims to help businesses in the region to innovate and reach new markets, will hear about the focus that a modern business needs to enable digital transformation.
He will explain that the technologies are combining to empower employees and deliver business transformation, and fully integrated to present a new and dynamic platform for businesses of all sizes.
“Business and industry is rapidly evolving the way it operates and cloud-based technologies are driving this, connecting every person, department and system inside or outside their organisation.
“The new generation of low cost, intuitive cloud technologies are transforming commercial and organisational productivity, spearheading for instance changes in the way accounts, sales and customer relationships are managed.
“Wherever they are working from, access to greater business intelligence and analytics through easy-to-use dashboards will allow managers and directors to make better informed decisions.
“Businesses are already steadily moving to the cloud. New platforms from Microsoft will simply accelerate this transition,” says Justin Short.
In 2015, Justin Short was awarded the title of Nintex Virtual Technology Evangelist (VTE), one of two in the UK to achieve such recognition and among only 17 in the world.
He is already one of the UK’s foremost specialists in Microsoft Cloud, Office 365 and SharePoint, is also a skilled user and adviser in Nintex, an innovative workflow platform and third party tool for SharePoint and Office 365.
