Digital Union widens reach with NBS partnership
North East digital and creative organisation Digital Union has received the backing of Newcastle-based construction support firm NBS.
NBS, which provides construction knowledge tools and services to construction industry professionals, has become a gold sponsor of the networking collective run by creative digital development agency Generator.
NBS, which employs around 200 people at its office in The Old Post Office, St Nicholas’ Street, says it hopes to use the expertise of the region’s digital companies to lead a digital revolution itself within the construction industry.
Robin Cordy, NBS director of digital commerce, explained: “Sponsorship of Digital Union makes great sense to us.
“Construction technology already helps us bring together those in the built environment with manufacturers, so they can work together using intelligent specification software, underpinned by accurate knowledge and information.
“And by working with Digital Union, we hope to open up new opportunities for them within the construction sector and utilise their expertise to ensure we remain at the forefront of digital developments.”
Jim Mawdsley, CEO of Generator, added: “We are delighted to welcome NBS as a Gold Partner of Digital Union. We are proud to partner with NBS and thank Richard and his team for their support.”
