Double letting announced at Manchester Airport’s Trident Business Park

Two businesses have snapped up space at Trident Business Park following the scheme’s multi-million pound refurb.

Property Alliance Group, the Manchester-based investor and developer, signed a deal with Meridian Business Support Ltd for the recruitment firm to occupy 9,300 sq ft on the first floor of Trident 3 on a 10-year lease.

Alliance also struck a 10-year deal with communication tech company Convergys for 15,058 sq ft on the second floor, and part of the ground floor, at Trident 2.

Located at Manchester Airport, Trident has undergone a £7m refurbishment to create 88,000 sq ft of Grade-A office space.

The site’s 5,000 sq ft glass Drum extension houses a new cafe and social space, in addition to meeting and board rooms connected to the offices via a link bridge.

Other amenities at Trident include a purpose-built gym, showers and changing facilities, bike storage and outdoor military fitness training.

Alliance director Alex Russell said: ’These lettings are further evidence of what a huge success Trident has been for Alliance with the scheme now 90% let.

“We knew the demand was there for Grade-A space in the airport vicinity and we have been in a position to maximise the opportunity and secure a succession of rapid lettings owing to our ability to develop a high quality scheme with an unrivalled amenity offer right on the back of the acquisition.”

Convergys’ Khurram Akram commented: “The quality of our office space is high on our priority list and it is a key part of keeping our ever-growing, energetic team engaged and motivated.

“We are looking forward to our move to Trident – the new office provides our technologies division with the high quality space and facilities for our team to enjoy.”

Property firms CBRE and Williams Commercial are letting agents on the Trident scheme.
