Dutch cosmetics brand opens new outlet in Islington
Rituals Cosmetics Boutique, the Dutch beauty brand, has opened a new store at Angel Central in Islington.
The global cosmetics brand, which has over 450 stores in 27 countries, has taken a 1,040 sq ft space at the North London shopping centre, building on its presence in the capital after opening its first store in 1999.
Designed by an in-house team, the space houses Rituals’ product line of body care, skin care, precious mineral make-up and other beauty and household items, and draw upon the brand’s Eastern influences.
It marks another new addition to the CBRE-managed Islington shopping centre, which earlier in the year embarked on efforts to expand its leisure and retail line-up after bringing on board Queensberry Real Estate as development managers.
The 150,000 sq ft shopping centre is currently anchored by H&M, along with global brands including Gap, French Connection and Oasis.
Matthew Barratt of CBRE Global Investors, commented: “Rituals Cosmetics is a great premium lifestyle and beauty brand addition to our line up at Angel Central. It provides a true luxury offer for our visitors that complements our fashion brands and appeals to our strong catchment.”
