Espresso Web to create 23 Middlesbrough jobs
Digital marketing agency Espresso Web has revealed plans to create 23 new jobs at its recently-expanded Middlesbrough base.
Looking to break the £1m turnover threshold, the firm has invested in an additional work unit to accommodate prospective new recruits.
Business partners Stephen Robinson and Greg Langstaff are fully refurbishing the unit on Riverside Park and hope to create a “community hub” for the company’s growing workforce.
“Adding the new unit has given us a great sense of direction and allows for our exciting expansion plans. The additional space we have gained gives us the perfect platform to expand without limitations whilst investing back in our team,” said Mr Robinson.
Espresso Web was set up as a web design agency by father of two Mr Robinson, 30, from his home in Sedgefield, County Durham, in April 2012. Mr Langstaff, 35, quickly came on board to steer sales.
As the company took on staff it relocated to Middlesbrough, initially at Skippers Lane, then Brighouse Business Village, and developed into a full-service digital marketing agency, offering Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) services, website design and social media marketing..
In January the company plans to hold a recruitment drive to double its 15-strong sales team and create a further eight skilled jobs in web design, development and SEO.
Mr Langstaff added: “We constantly invest in our workforce because we know that by looking after them, we will get the best out of them. It is because of our talented team that this company continues to go from strength to strength.”
