One appoints new Head of PR and Social
Integrated communications agency, One, has announced the appointment of Alex Hamilton to the role of Head of PR and Social.
Hamilton, who stepped up to interim head earlier in the year, has accepted the position permanently, after successfully leading the team following the departure of Sarah Lawless, in April.
Speaking about his appointment, Alex comments: “I’m thrilled to accept the position of Head of PR and Social, and pick up where Sarah left off building our fantastic team and impressive client roster even further.
“It’s been a delight stepping up and working closely with the team and I look forward to many more exciting and challenging times at the helm.”
One’s PR and social team currently work with a wide range of clients, from leading national house builder, Taylor Wimpey and luxury interior design specialists, Style Matters, to kitchen appliance manufacturers Hoover, Gorenje and Britannia.
One’s managing director, Wayne Silver, adds: “Alex has proven himself to be an invaluable member of our One family, and we’re delighted that he has accepted the role of department head, permanently.
“Not only does Alex offer a wealth of experience, having headed up our growing social department for the past two years, but his rapport with the whole team, as well as a wider agency, is a talent that was too impressive not to stand up and take note of.
“We’ve no doubt he’ll continue to flourish in this role and wish him all the very best.”
One is an integrated agency offering advertising, design, digital, PR and social services to a range of B2B and B2C clients, including Euler Hermes, United Utilities and York Racecourse.
