Digital business expands in Stockton town centre

Stockton town centre’s latest independent business has officially opened the doors of its new premises.

Special guest, “Daisy Bear,” from local autism charity Daisy Chain cut the ribbon at iStation.

The Apple support specialist has moved into a unit on Silver Street in Stockton town centre after a successful two-and-a-half years building its trade in Digital House on Dovecot Street.

Managing director Bryan Holmes – pictured (above) with Daisy Bear – has been working in multi-disciplined IT services for more than 30 years.

He said: “Silver Street is the perfect location to expand the business and have high street visibility whilst also giving our customers easy access to our services.

“In our first few weeks of trading, we have seen a dramatic increase in the demand for our services which looks set to continue based on the positive feedback from customers on our move.

“Keeping our business in Stockton was paramount to us as we forged some very strong relationships with consumers and business in the area.”

Stockton Council’s cabinet member for regeneration and transport, Councillor Nigel Cooke, said: “Stockton town centre’s creative and independent sector is really flourishing. Digital House is a proven incubator for fledgling companies and iStation is yet another success story.

“It is really exciting to see iStation grow and add to the diverse selection of shops and businesses in Stockton Town Centre.

“Nestled amongst some of the town’s other popular independents like DRAKE – the bookshop, Poppy Rose and the Pottery Pen – its new location is perfect and I’m sure its success will continue.”

After an intense four-week refurbishment, iStation is offering specialist support and maintenance of Apple products to consumer devices, business servers and networks.

iStation says it’s the only Apple consultants in the Teesside and County Durham area which is part of the Apple consultants network, made up of independent, local IT companies offering services and solutions based around Apple products.
