Unilever to showcase influencer marketing with Buzzoole at unbound London 2016 technology conference
Influencer marketing platform Buzzoole has been selected by Unilever Foundry to showcase its technology at this year’s unbound London technology and innovation conference. Buzzoole will have a presence at the event, which will take place between 7 and 8 December at the Old Truman Brewery in East London.
The self-styled “innovation festival” will bring together international leaders, brands and growth-stage companies to explore the latest in emerging and disruptive technologies. WPP boss Sir Martin Sorrell, along with senior executives from Google, Viacom and Kantar Group, will address an audience of over 3,500 brands, start ups and investors.
Buzzoole opened its London office – a first step in its overseas expansion – at the start of the year and 2016 has been significant for the Naples-based company as it targets growth. In April it was selected to join the UK Trade and Investment’s Global Entrepreneur Programme, and just a few weeks ago it was shortlisted for the Unilever Next Big Thing award.
Fabrizio Perrone, CEO and co-founder, Buzzoole, said: “Technology and innovation are at the heart of what Buzzoole does, so it is vital that we build a role for ourselves in this exciting and fast-changing ecosystem. Showcasing our platform at unbound is a great way to do this. It allows us to keep track of developments in the digital sector more broadly.”
Victoria Luck, managing director, Buzzoole UK, said: “Buzzoole has gone from strength to strength in 2016: we’ve set up shop in the UK, surpassed the 180,000 influencer mark on our platform and now work with over 300 brands. unbound London is a fantastic opportunity for Buzzoole to keep this momentum going.”
