On invests £44,000 in fleet of vans

Leading Midlands live events company On Event Production Co. has invested more than £44,000 to upgrade and expand its fleet of vehicles.

On, which is based in Castle Donington, has had a busy year driving all over the UK - and has now invested in two new Vauxhall Maxi-low vans to enable it keep pace with the full calendar of live events, conferences and roadshows it has lined up for 2017.

The company first trialled this style of van around a year ago and was impressed with both the load space and payload capacity for the 3.5T vehicle, which it found to be significantly better than its other standard vans in the same weight category. The Maxi-low vans also have a new, more aerodynamic body design to allow greater fuel efficiency and help reduce pollution.

The new vehicles will enable On to provide more efficient and economical logistics solutions for its clients and are perfect for their programme of roadshows and smaller events as everything they need can fit into one or two of these vehicles.

Commenting on the investment in new Maxi-low vehicles, Paul White, operations director at On, said:

“Here at On, we strive to be as efficient as we possibly can be with our operations and the investment in these two new Maxi-low vans is part of the constant evolution to improve the service to our clients.

“Not only this, they are also very comfortable and great to drive too. They come equipped with air conditioning, cruise control, rear view camera and comfort seats, all of which will vastly improve the driving experience for our engineers and crew whilst out on the road,” added Paul.
